Like DROPSHIPS and MAVs. They exist on EVE so why not in Dust? Dropships are medium aerial vehicles and should have the front turret medium sized for more power and usefulness.

Since all the breach weapons have low RoF how about making it long range??? It should have more range than standard AR and less range than TAC AR. Since it has low RoF it will have less recoil than std AR for precise auto long range firing.

It's not the AR it's the god damn Light Sharpshooter skill. Without the skill the AR is a CQC-mid range weapon. With sharpshooter the AR can have more range than a laser rifle, and the almost no recoil makes it OP.
