That's why if you get no bleed out there should be no direction change. If you have bleed out time, you should face the direction you were last shot from. Because your suit can relay info you can't.

I like the idea of uplinks being crappy scanners (just enough to avoid insta shotgun death). Scanning skills shouldn't be needed, but should effect the range/accuracy of scanning, though this might be much harder to implement.
