Good rule of thumb is that you will as a scout beat a scanner of the same level as your dampener and scout skill. Ie a Basic scout and dampener will beat a basic scanner Adv scout (skill level not suit) and adv dampener will beat a basic scanner ...

To get an orbital you need a squad and 2500 WP. If its the same requirements for an uplink drop your argument is moot. You can always be the one who leads the charge. You often find a couple of berries will step up once links become available.

Scout or logi dampened, run wide, drop first uplink > 150m from red berries or objectives. Then move in close and put multiple uplinks away from each other. Any uplinks closer then 100m to reds or objectives leave an RE inside them

Keep the current mechanics for damage etc but no WP from within the redzone. Stops the hive spawners at base racking up 1700 WP for ammo refills. Stops redline snipers getting WP. They still can get their precious KDR and help the team. So yes y...

You can calulate your rate of turn by timing a full rotation. Ie standing, squatting, aiming, not aiming. You really don't need a fast rotation to keep up at long ranges. In fact over sensitive (fast) turning at range is detrimental.

Yes but a couple of ganks a day over a large player base is not the same as multiple proto stomps per day for a new player. It would be like getting your mining frigate destroyed every second mining run in high sec to be a comparable rate.

It's a choice ISK or KDR positive for a tanker. Much like life low risk equals low reward. If you are only hunting cheap tanks, not gaining objectives, supplying hives, links or revs then your WP will be lower and get less. My scout/logi fits go...

Well team play may be the answer for Vets. But why not right now have an option for High Sec matches where you can choose not to start the game against pre-made squads. So all the players join the game as individuals and can squad up after that....
