It makes the game suck for new graduates of the battle academy. They are not going to want to play and for this game to stick around it needs players. Save the proto gear for Faction Warefare and Planetary Conquest and stop using it for CHEAP kills in public matches.

This problem has been occurring since Uprising with the respec. CCP has been told about it, and they have experienced it first hand when they themselves play the game. For 10 months THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. They have only themselves to blame for the sorry state this game is in. The trick to getting people to play you game is: Make a game that people want to play. They don't care though. They are used to having failed titles. Fish in a bucket!

Equip some R/E and make them feel the ISK loss... My k/d is an honest one, funny thing is that I still played skirmish for the 3 or so months that stats weren't added from skirmish matches in beta. I'd actually be at around a 4 k/d, an extra 2 mil wp and about 15k extra kills on top. Level 2 forum warrior. Minmatar and Gallente fw. I sold my wife and kids to the Amarr for isk, its a valid tactic.

But why not right now have an option for High Sec matches where you can choose not to start the game against pre-made squads. So all the players join the game as individuals and can squad up after that. Also rank the WP for a kill based on load out. If a Tank is 150 then a proto slayer logi is 75 and you get -5 for a scout kill Turrent - the sound a tankers pants makes when he finds out the four swarm militia doing squats around him aren't AFK.
