I partially agree. I don't think it's better, but I hardly think it's been killed. Yes the damage is lower, yes the radius is way smaller, but I used mine in conjunction with flux grenades and got good enough to put a grenade right at your feet so...

It is just PvP for now, there will be PvE eventually. Just like the market will eventually be implimented. The changes that are broken are a whole different story. I'm hoping they get fixed, but patch day is always a bumpy ride.
