Well, more like tried to do what I was doing before but keep peeking over my shoulder to make sure some crazy deity didn't decide to explode my PS3 and stab me through the gut for my transgressions, but that is largely irrelevant.
It's honestly not so bad. I got 4,344 SP compared to the usual 6,000 something. Not bad.
Strangely enough, it was an overwhelming victory. I will take this as a sign that it was the right thing to do and encouragement. I s'pose I won't just back out of games with 6 people from corps on the opposing side now. |

If everyone's just gonna spam logi LAV's every game might as well sit in the MCC and collect easy ISK and SP. |

Knowing CCP there will be a default order of design approaches:
1) Punish
2) No advantage
3) A better alternative
The first two options are more CCP's way of doing things, but that would come at a price for server numbers which they can't afford. If you won't log on to play, and you can't log on to AFK you aren't going to be around for long.
Be interesting to see if CCP is up to the challenge. They haven't been demonstrating that so far. |

I guess assuming that no one captured anything, you'd get a crapload of SP for a match that ran that long. |

CCP should make those MCC doors useful.... for an entrance to an AFK player lounge.

With big screens of the action going on in the match. maybe 4 or so of the team's top players POV. A Quafe bar perhaps? |

You could play a game of Slay while your compatriot blue dots are spilling their blood on the soil for your SP. |
