Seen that happen before, only happened to me with a swarm launcher. Best guess is the game confuses your loadout with someone else's and doesn't reset properly.

Its a very common glitch, happens when your connection gets out of sync. Game restart fixes the problem, rinse and repeat till its gone.

If this happened near the front end of your matches of the day, then you didn't have diminishing returns. which gave you the 'double' xp. If your saying this works every match well then thats plain scary and awesome.
