Dropships are unusually inconsistent; some flights are better than others. This goes for all variants, but it's most noticeable with the heavier ones (militia, basic, logistics) because you can barely get off the ground when they're bad.

Hit detection. Doesn't help that all small turrets are terrible, either. When I was running in a nova zombie squad, several missiles hit the ground right next to me multiple times, yet they never damaged me.
