i mean.. we can put modules on our equipable dropsuits even if we don't have the skill requirement.. why can't we start a proto suit (or type a/b or 1/2, whatever you're at.) loadout and try jamming stuff on it to see what fits and what doesn't? ...

i'm staring at a future build and i can see that it needs 58 powergrid. if i train that skill up that boosts it to 25% powergrid it gives me 57.5. uhh.. so will that be enough? does it round up?
