161. New - in General Discussions [original thread]
The merc pack BPOs are pretty OP. Saves you a ton of isk on your scout suits.. Even more if you got the MAG pack. I have a nearly free fitting thats still better than what most people field.

Assault is the most entertaining. Logi is good too but currently you get no SP for Remote repair. Vehicles are always winning but I expect sever changes to them in the near future.

163. Is that "ISK FEST" event serious ?! - in General Discussions [original thread]
I think its to really test vehicle combat. Right now its been mostly vehicles dominating the field with a FEW infantry AV trying to stop them. Now with tons of vehicles more people will NEED to get some AV fits or get some Veh vs Veh combat going....

164. Free MMO vs Free to play MMO.... - in General Discussions [original thread]
I hate the term tripple A. Its just marketing trying to one up their compitition. The few tripple A games I've played have been pretty crappy. You'd imagine with tens to hundreds of millions of dollars put into a game, they'd come up with somethin...

165. Side weapon swap speed - in General Discussions [original thread]
5% per level actually wouldn't be half bad. Especially if it has a proficency skill that gives an additional 3% per level. Im not sure how I'd feel if the quickdraw skill would be included with all weapons though.

166. Gun Game and Instant-Hit Mechanics - Discussion with CCP Wolfman - in General Discussions [original thread]
An m16 round travels at over 900meters per second. In dust with an AR, that bullet would reach its maximum distance (about 100m) in a single frame. Bullet travel isn't too much of a nessessity.

I believe CCP confirmed that there will be a sidearm quickdraw skill added in the future. I am looking forward that.

If AUR items are going to be different than ISK varients, they need to be side grades like CCP say they are. They shouldn't be better. They should be different. If you don't like them. You don't need to buy them. Okay, so thus far we have 3 known...

Maps are too big for there to be much teamwork in skirmish. In ambush your team finds one or two good spots to cover or they run around in a herd.

Unreal Engine 4 is coming out. I think thats why people are complaining about UE3. Mind you, none of the people complaining have actually used the engine. Most people complaining about bugs have never programmed... Let alone programmed a video game.
