I kind of like the idea of teams having dedicated sniffers/scanners that can detect the stealthies. There would be a nice side-game of stealthies sneaking around trying to keep out of range of the one or two sniffers on the other team.

Regarding 1 & 2, CCP found that with the longer academy, new players were thinking "is this all there is?" and quitting before graduating, have never seen what else was available. The "graduation fund" idea is a nice one though.
