if you're using repping nanohives you've probably got a nice logi skillset anyway. Armor plates have insane speed penalties, narrowing the mobility gap between the logi and the assault Explosives are everywhere. Skill bonus is completely worthless.

my cheapo shotty-scout that's half BPOs performs pretty well and is great in any game where clone count doesn't matter. So it sucks outside of skirmish. Gallente scout gets the shaft with armor plate penalties though.
