Shooting with any sort of blaster, whether a large, small, or a installation. Will cause the driver to get hit. It results in the driver dieing.

Sometimes during a spawn your screen will be black for 1-3 seconds off spawn. Staying still will keep you invisible, but it's still quite annoying

Forge gun shots also disappear after 300 meters. Small missle turrets also explode after about 150 meters, maybe less. Flaylock shots explode after about 60 meters. Some of these may be deliberate like the shotgun thing.
