Most of very good players uses Caldari Assault. They are good enough [players] to win vs scramblers etc. But yeah, without laser weponary, Caldari assault would be 2x more competetive.

No, it's still bad . Amarr and Minmatar both have good bonuses that allow them to deal more dmg within one clip. Caldari bonus doesn't give anything. Gallente bonus also doesn't give much cuz AR has zero kick and zero to almost zero dispresion...
