I haven't given the scrambler (rifle) a fair shake yet. Typically it's AR/Scrambler pistol for me.... For some reason the ADS on the scrambler annoys me, and the 120/80 damage to shields/armor. But, I should probably spend some real time with it...

+1 for different ammo types in general, and slug rounds for shotguns specifically. Just because it is a 'shotgun' I don't see any reason not to put a slug round in it. It still wouldn't be a rifle because I assume it would still have no rifiling...
