Was playing some FW with good folks from the local chat and one of them saw me fire a full charge shot into someone followed by 2 quick shots and dropping the target to the ground. "Dayumm." Pretty much the same exact feeling I get every time. I don't care if Assault Rifle is better in most situations, but pulling off quick scrambler rifle kills is one of the most rewarding feelings in Dust.
I will be upgrading to the Assault variant tomorrow though, not sure how I will like it. Will miss the charge option for sure. Definitely keeping multiple fittings. |

I'll end up getting the laser once I've got a satisfactory logi setup. Even though it feels terrible, I like being the hipster douche with the weapon nobody uses. |

My Scrambler Rifle can and will one-shot kill you if you stand still, if you're moving, we're talking about two shots. As opposed to the odd 20-30 shots of an assault rifle. |

Scrambler. I still get surprised when I end an engagement a second after it starts. One shoting scouts and weaker suits with the charged shot is a great feeling, and the assault variant melts faces.
My only complaint is that I often find myself out of ammo quickly with either variant. Nothing a few hundred-thousand SP can't fix, though. |

Not going to lie. After the Templar event, I found lasers to be the most fun to use. Granted you pretty much need to have proto laser+proficency to make it worth while, other wise you will end up going 5-30-4 during a match. Which is what I pretty much found myself doing. |

I haven't given the scrambler (rifle) a fair shake yet. Typically it's AR/Scrambler pistol for me....
For some reason the ADS on the scrambler annoys me, and the 120/80 damage to shields/armor. But, I should probably spend some real time with it - maybe this week.
The LR is really hard for me to use effectively. |
