81. [Request] More starting classes - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Once you get LAVs, it doesn't take very long to transition into Dropships so I think I would want players to at least get some LAV experience before going into Dropships.

85. [Request] More starting classes - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
The three starting classes we have currently are fine, but there needs to be more. Probably the most important one to get (at least to me) is some sort of pilot starting class. Skilling into vehicles, I found it to be a considerable hump of skill...

As someone who did game for a long time on the 360 with an SDTV, you have my condolences. But we really do need to move on and continue to design around HDTVs.

88. Why I think the majority of eve players should not beta test Dust 514. - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Given how this is set in the EVE universe and the events of Dust 514 affect EVE Online, it only makes sense to give them some say in what goes on. Economics and politics will play a huge role in this game as well. If anyone knows anything about t...

89. OP Forge Gun - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Well, as long as it takes more than one forge gun to down a tank, I'm happy with it. Killing infantry in a tank is really difficult. And if one guy with a forge gun can down people by 100k credits from across the map, that's a problem.

That won't make LAVs overpowered. They're underused as is. I am pretty sure they're going to make it so that you can shoot out of the dropship. After all, that's what you could do in the trailer.

This really comes back to the strafing argument. Right now, strafing in scout suits is what separates the skilled from the unskilled. Since it makes it hard to aim at someone. I disagree with this. I CAN, and do beat them, but it's not very fun t...
