I was having similar experiences; had to HTFU and dump the points I was saving for Flaylock Proficiency into Swarm Launchers. Now that I'm back in proper AV, I haven't been dumped into any LLAV Murder Taxi matches to test it out.

I hate the Tac as much as anybody, but I have to admit that cooking a flux and then launching the suspiciously fast firing Tac AR C. Logistics guy into the air with a single Flaylock missile is suuuuuper satisfying.

Previously, the skill made the module obsolete. Why waste a slot when you can max passive and have the equivalent of a STD version of the mod on all your suits, all the time, for free? That's certainly what I did in chromosome.

They're actually more useful against those annoying LLAVs with the crazy shields. You just have to time your cooking so that it drives right throw the blast. It's not easy, but they've been straight up outrunning my AV grenade lock ons lately.
