because universally useful skills just add to the list of "core" skills newbies have to grind through before they can start making interesting choices. |

This entire new build has felt like the world got flipped upside down for a while now =/
Not much makes sense at this point, I'm hoping these changes start falling into place soon. |

To unlock kinetic mods you must have 'Dropsuit Biotic Upgrades' to V. This gives you a flat 5% speed increase.
In other words ANYONE who drops points into stamina mods will get a flat increase in movement speed, 1% per level. So if you want Kinetic speed mods you get 5% BEFORE you even put a mod on a suit.. but at a decent SP cost.. |

Previously, the skill made the module obsolete. Why waste a slot when you can max passive and have the equivalent of a STD version of the mod on all your suits, all the time, for free? That's certainly what I did in chromosome. |

Its a design method to help lessen the gap between vets and rookies and limits (ergo reduce) total skill level of any one fit by nearly appox. 70% in this manner. Thus lowering the level of 'max sp' of a fit in a situation where adding another SP more does that fit no good.
While I would like to see more passive skills they need to be low hanging SP fruit, Biotic Upgrades for example should imo include the stats boosting portion. There has to be a very strong cautionary between making skills a 'must' or a 'want' and bonuses that affect the soldier, unlocks things, and bonuses that effect the equipment in mind. |

the module was never obsolete. I always ran the module on my suits. However I can't seem ti fit the module will all the ******** changes CCP made to the skill tree for the noobs. |
