DUST Search - scramble rifle is junk.. everyone just use the tactical AR.. boring

I also dont need to spend 4mil sp on assault suit 5 to make a AR good.. but for the scramble rifle you need to get a 25% heat build up reduction just to make it more effective? Who comes up with this stuff?

So the things that matter to this gun are not even in the after proficiency stage.. reduced heat.. or increased range.. or.. no its reduced PG (who cares) and faster reload (again.. why)

Sorry for the rant but i was pretty excited to get off the tac ar for something different and again a SP dump for trash

They say they play their games, but from what I see they rely more on data than anything else. Only when something gets messed up, do they seem to care about feedback. The game right now is Tact. ARs + LAV with too much HP (free LAV at that). If you're using anything other than the Tact. AR, you're gimping yourself.

All I have to do is one shot, two shot, three shot, charge shot. I might over heat I might not that really depends on my trigger finger. The only ones that survive this are heavy suits and amarr mediums, damn things are just really beefy. Really I mean you will tear straight through a caldari and Mini well they have to have great gun game cause when there shields are gone they are just like Caldari really squishy. The Gallente I just don't think I have met really a whole lot who fit them right yet or their speed really effects their gun game. Also if you get a charged headshot you can kiss it good bye idk what your EHP is but, it is zero after that and if its not I have three shots to follow up with before I over heat better be quick. Is the TAR better I would say yes to the plain and simple game of it all. But the Scrabler rifle is just so much fun can't wait till I can get proto with it. I think it should do a little bit more to shields but thats just my opinion on an adv level against protos regularly dont know proto on proto yet. Am I fan boying yea maybe a little. I see its weakness and have accepted that it is not as great as th TAR but it is still not bad as you make it seem.

Sharpshooter skill DOES exist on TAC AR, it reduces recoil/bullet dispersion now. That doesn't exist on the SR, and to the OP The fact that I can one hit kill people using the SR is what makes it good. Just because its different from the TAC AR doesn't mean its bad.

The SCR sort of makes up for that with the ability to charge your shot. SCR is definitely a gun that requires more skill to use, but in the right hands it can be better in a lot of situations. I am swaying realllly hard on whether to respec into SCR or AR. AR would be eaiser, but I think SCR would be better in the long run.

It may not have the range of the Tac but those nancy boys get way too over confident in most fire fights. The Scrambler Rifle requires quick burst fire no more than 5-7 shots and landing 5 of them is about all you ever need within the weapons optimal. I'm running an Imperial Scrambler Rifle, Three enhanced Damage Mods, my armour tanking set up, and Im ravaging most people who come into optimal. Also you are talking about a kinda brokeded weapon..... balance that tac to the standards of other guns doing what they were intended to do and perhaps we wont see threads like this complaining about a really cool gun.

To unlock it's full potential, make sure you've skilled up Amarr Assault all the way to take advantage of the 25% reduction in heat build up. And yes, please everyone spec into TAC AR. I was able to use both the TAR and the SCR and find the SCR much more enjoyable to use.
