I'm mostly a solo player and use my proto gear all the time. It's not the gear it's the squads. Even with all my fancy stuff I still can't go up against squads, it's not a magical suit. The matchmaking is terrible, puts all the randoms on one side.

they do make it hard for new players yes. i still see players shoot at the mcc, kinda funny. the matchmaking is terrible 2 to 3 squads on one team while all randoms on the other. it's not fun in fact it sucks. the only time i join squads is for so...

the last couple of days I have been in battles where there was squads on both sides and the ones on my team did nothing. they were from top 20 corps. 1 battle the whole squad sniped for the whole game and in another (different corp) they stood aro...

I did notice a change. it was more like lack of hit detection. I mostly aim though the gun sights not hip fire. was hitting them but wasn't doing much damage.

my deaths haven't really changed. would rather aim assist then enemy that have no hit detection. I think the game is playable now. before facing the same players every game that couldn't be killed was very frustrating.
