Close quarters is melee to shotgun range. Mid range is around assault rifle's maximum range without skills.

I recommend using it with a heavy suit, it makes you die way less. Right now it is a crap weapon, but you can get some kills with it with practice.

If the damage was the same at all ranges, then It would be perfectly good. I think its suppose to be that way though. Another solution would be to give it higher range to make up for its lack of short range power.

I'm here because I'm a fan of hard science fiction, and large scale FPS, low bullet damage FPS, games with depth, persistent worlds. This game is the closest thing to my ideal game, I really hope its fun when it releases officially.
