Alright, first thing is that the game is enjoyable once you get into it, but sometimes you seem to be wandering around the map looking for someone to kill... i think the player cap should be extended or CCP needs to close the perimiters of the maps slightly so that the gameplay feels more hectic. My future vision for this game would be explosions crashind down all around my merc and gunfire blazing all as my squad rushes to capture C, tanks advancing on each other and LAVs zooming past clearing out a path while orbital bombardments are raining down over in the distance and then looking up to see swarm launcher rockets take down a dropship or see some sort of aerial combat... and... Somthing along those lines.
What im trying to say is that the game is too slow paced right now and needs to be more exciting... Codex mades the game feel more fluid with the new sprinting and reloading animations and faster loading of the menu, and having corps implemented is cool... but the core gameplay wasnt affected much.

I agree, sometimes maps do feel empty. I'm hoping for more players in Skirmish for more concentrated battles. |

The maps are unfortunately pretty empty currently. I imagine if they could increase the players from 16 v 16 to 32 v 32, that would go a long way towards rectifying some of that. I actually don't look forward to much more than 32 v 32. I would be ok with 64 v 64, but really that is as large as it would ever need to be. MAG taught us a lot of things about massive gaming, and part of that was that sometimes games just got too big, and there's no real reason to worry about playing with 200 people, because you're not going to really be interacting with that many. |

The thing is, you are interacting with all of those people, especially when the game is pushed to the inner 8 objectives. I remember battles where we would have 2 platoons all pushing in one area, gas everywhere, constant fire, and framerates between 40-60!
MAG was great when it was coordinated. |

one of the Dev, one of them from irc i think but yeah their goal is 124 vs 124 at or soon after launch. |

Did you play the previous build? Mainly the same maps, but the pace was faster (E3 build pace was faster still)
I'm thinking this is due to changes they made to strafing etc. in this build, previous build I found the pace pretty much spot on.
At present some skirmish matches are really beginning to drag - keep looking at the top right corner thinking 'will one of you 2 MCC's hurry up and explode please!' |

Honestly I like the longer fights, more fighting less loading the longer the rounds. This is one of the reasons I enjoyed Killzone's Warzone mode.
I also like the fact that it seems you can run out of clones OR destroy the MCC, unless I missed how that worked where the other guys one for another reason.

By using uplinks the gameplay gets either more tactical or more hectic, depending if you really want to keep on pushing on one area. |
