I still run the same basic amarr fits, just think tactically and all is well - seek cover when scanned, avoid open spaces in case of rail rifles and snipers, beware of the roads when vehicles come. OP is always going to be OP, there's no avoiding ...

One last thing - skill into what you like, not what fit of the month is. If it's overpowered, it will be brought in line, so don't waste your skill points in something you won't enjoy once it stops being OP.

Hate basic frames. In a moment of weakness, I skilled them to proto. Impossible to run. No bonuses, too expensive to even have a chance of making profit, and ugly. Seriously, they're just black.
