You can equip it to any suit, try using it on a Scout or Assault though. If you like it, skill up into shotguns and try all the different types. There's some with more range and less ammo, or some with less damage yet more clip size.

What? I've never had this happen to me. Are you getting revived, or spawning again? Also, the shield/armor counter sometimes bugs and shows no HP, when you actually do have them. But this is new to me.

The thing, Shield tanking offers way more versatility and choice. Along with the fact that you can take punishment for a long period of time. Armor tanks are great for short skirmishes, but aren't all that useful during long time engagements.

Medic is hard in Dust because the system was newly implemented and is buggy and people don't usually wait. The maps are huge, and revive timer is about 30 s. Also, a lot of people have died as soon as they were revived and therefore don't trust it...
