Forge can't do much to you. And you have tons of armor. Most people have around 7-10 k Armor on armor tanks, while shield tanks don't usually surpass 6-7k. Swarms do hurt though.

Honestly? No. With the current standard pricing and militia pricing, it's easy to stock up on items for a while using ISK. I recommend buying Type-1 suits however, those are useful. And weapons. And boosters. And buy some UVT as well.
