The name saids it all how many have you have been killed by ppl putting tanks in ambush cuz they can't kill? I ask ccp for a mode for ambush tht dosent let ppl use any kind of vehicle. Ok ik tht ppl love doing tht but its still fun for nobody...just make a mode tht is only infantry |

Infantry only maps I wouldn't mind. But no need to split up the community base even more with another Ambush setting, I hate that OMS is separate from vanilla already.
Infantry only maps are a must though. And not the claustrophobic clusterf*** indoors we have at the moment. |

um mike you know this is a mmo right? as in massively multiplayer online not just your every day fps? althought they are going the root of your normal shooter they are also trying not to go down that road.... |

As someone who plays ambush with a tank (rail gun fit to kill other tanks, don't go balistic on me) I can tell you your super vulnerable on a lot of the ambush maps. THey're so small and spawns so random there is a pretty good cahnce that any AV will spawn close enough to you to get a few shots before they are killed. There's no where to run, there's no hwere to hide, you just have to sit their and tank it for the most part.
But seriously, there's nothing more fun then crashing into a group of 6 guys with 2 gunners on advanced blaster turrets and just watching them run for cover :D |

Agree, Ambush should be infantry only (or at least have an option for it).
Perhaps LAV's would be Ok, but tanks are really just salt in a wound for a match in which players want a good fight against other infantry. I rarely ever have a problem avoiding them, but still, it's in bad taste to bring one in a match. |

Play Ambush OMS. Vehicles likely stay away from modes with many supply depots because its more likely there will be significant AV. |

Yeah. I have to agree with you, Icy. I dislike that they made OMS a standalone. It really was un-needed. I do think there should be infantry only maps too, which would be cool, but they [CCP] should not make it a whole other rotation at the moment like they did OMS. |
