Oh trust me it has an effect. Try using two complex damage mods, or even just one, and you'll notice a drastic increase in damage, especially from charged shots.

But how much more are we really getting if we just play ambush the whole event? 100k? maybe 150k max? If the boosted cap is about 300k, and you can earn up to 600k with this event, that means I'll probably get about 450k total instead of the 600k...
