DPI switch is really nice but its not required at all. Done FPS'ing for nearly two decades without it and just recently started abusing it. Good stuff, but its usually the factor that changes a 15 dollar mouse into a 50 dollar mouse.

Right. Corp matches are sort of a prelude to this already, but they take too long to get rolling and don't involve guy who prefers to stay out of corporations. This allows the soloist a shot at a more competitive gametype with like-minded people.
