I said "recent" upgrade to aim assist. And actually yes, they did mess with it some in this build as well. Felt it on my scrambler rifle immediately. It is now tracking further into effective range with some weapons. Used to cut off just outside ...

The reason this happened is most likely that they were experimenting with higher scan values across the board, and after they settled on 16 meters for scouts they forgot to change the values back on the regular frames. CCP does this a lot.
