We've gotten the stats for the new rifles and for many, many pics of the new compound but as of this point there has been no sign that either the new heavy or new scout suit will be in 1.7. Why CCP? Why? AR's rule this game, and you're just adding more of them. Meanwhile the Heavy only has one suit and two weapons, one of which is already nerfed and the other with a nerf impending.

"Almost" 1.7? 1.6 hasn't been released yet, and they haven't shown us everything yet.
The most likely case is that CCP has a bit more solid plan for Dropsuits in terms of slot layout, CPU/ PG layout
since that was likely something they planned when they made the suits in the first place. If that's the case, they don't
have much of a need for us to look over them for advice. |

Give it a few weeks. Once 1.7 passes through their internal QA testing, they will probably start posting Dev blogs and creating threads telling us what is in it.
The CPMs have certainly been teasing that there is a lot more in 1.7 than we know of so far, so nothing we can do now except wait and hope 1.7 will create racial symmetry (for infantry at least). |

If you had watched the EVE vegas stream (which you clearly haven't) you would be aware that CCP is planning to release all the remaining racial dropsuits Soon. Not "soon tm" but soon. Maybe not 1.7, but I can almost guarantee you they'll be in by 1.8 or 1.9. But honestly who knows!?! The only thing we know is coming for sure in 1.7 is vehicle changes, and new weapons. But remember, that's not what they originally planned for 1.7.
So whatever was slated for 1.7 two months ago (when CCP announced the vehicle changes would be pushed back to 1.7) is still going to be there, along with what was supposed to come out in 1.5.
CCP has also mentioned that they hate respecs and that they don't want to do it anymore then they have to. So there trying to bring everything in at once, and not over time.

release them all at once.
From what I read, don't ask me where probably an IWS post.

That means they're trying for light frames, as medium frames are complete. That makes no sense. They're adding a Heavy suit.
