I suspect the explosion of unattended vehicles is to prevent trolling your own team by calling in the max vehicle quota in cheap crap in the redline...and I think it's a decent solution to that problem. Other than that, sounds like a plan.

+1 to the OP. Current pricing makes you use your vehicles in a very precious way that's pretty contrary to 'fun'. That, in turn, is less fun for AVers.
