They are useless. They do not hack, they do not push on the enemy. About the only thing they are good for was overwatch and marking enemies, but they can't even do that anymore. If any team has more than 3 of them that team will almost always lose...

Fighting Sansha True Slaves would be fun. They would probably operate in a very reckless way and zergrush the players in waves. It would just be mode that you have to survive long enough while holding off slaves for a settlement to evacuate.
