Or the easiest way would be to have meta level matchmaking..... And make separate matches this based on that, there could be basic matches (where suits with a total meta of 20* or lower can be used) and just repeat that for other tiered matches ...

The Caldari assault isn't actually that bad. It's because people are morons and only go FOTM and never use it again. My most used fit is a raven C-1 with 340 shield and 260 armour, rr and bolt pistol, 11k isk.
