If I ever get a day in Dust when I don't get a single hard freeze, internal error or fatal error, I think that's the day when I gotta put some big money into lottery.

i've had it happen recently too. had to turn off at mian power on wall too as ps3 power button didn't fix it  happened 2-3 times on one evening

I've only had a few during 1.7.
Haven't had one yet since 1.8, but I DID get an extremely frame drop in one match so far and shotgun broke during 4 matches (didn't work).
Other than that, no problems here. |

Well my screen just went black and I can't hear my squadmates anymore....I think I just froze for the third time

 wow what is wrong with your PS3? I've had maybe two or three hard freezes in about 10 months of Dust, and I rarely get internal errors.

I wonder as to why during the game's beta stage I never had this problem. it seems every time a patch comes out the occurrence of the PS3 hardfreezing becomes prevalent.
If your PS3 unit hardfreeze's while playing a game forcing you to reboot the system it should give you a notice about having the option of sending a report to SCEA.
The PS3 generates a list (error log) of what you were doing (i.e. playing Dust 514) that eventually caused the unit to hardfreeze prompting the need to reboot the unit. (not turning it off properly)
This option is available provided you agree beforehand of sending error logs to SCEA whilst setting up your PS3 system.

Already got to the point where I no longer count how many times I've sent SCEA error logs bought on by playing Dust. Just wishing to see if it will push SCEA to kick CCP's arse. |

My system will freeze up more when it over-heats. So I play less in Summer. Run a box-fan over it late Spring and early Fall.
Haven't had it crash during battle this year.

I pulled mine apart cleaned it with ISO alcohol and replaced the heat sink compound with some artic silver 5. The fan never gets loud now but i still have problems with the thing hard freezing on me. |
