Just a hunch, but I bet we'll see a greater rotation of maps after the clone challenge. I think CCP is trying to get us to fight more by having fewer maps with 5 objectives and focusing on trying to get everyone around two or three.

Definitely noticed the map popping up with alarming frequency in skirmish matches. Unfortunately, I've seen many squads immediately leave the game once the match starts which throws off any attempt made at balancing out the sides.

Main problem with the forge gun: You're better off simply calling in a rail tank. Quicker movement, faster firing and more durable. Honestly, Aldin's FG was the only one that I really ever bothered to use.
