I think we'll keep the Gallente versions, but the rail rifle and carbine will end up doing the job better than the tacs and bursts respectively. Everything we know now about weapons, dropsuits, and modules to come is speculation.

Players are blind when in the turret seat. Funny story, this has happened in reverse already. Spawn in blind, holding no weapon, and could only see when in the gunner's seat.
