161. He makes it seem so.... Easy - in General Discussions [original thread]
First time I tried my proto flaylocks (which was the first time I tried flaylocks in general) I got 27 kills with them and only died twice. It was on the Biomass version of Skim Junction, and I tell you these things are absolutely amazing in tight...

162. Iron Sights in a Futuristic Game Like Dust?... Really?... - in General Discussions [original thread]
Iron sights are timeless. I mean even today we could put an optic on every gun if we wanted to, but we don't. Iron sights still have their own unique advantages and aren't going away anytime soon, even in 20,000 years. I actually prefer iron sigh...

You are greatly underestimating how much ISK it costs to get a fitting that can one hit kill a heavy, not to mention the massive SP sink required.

170. Removing the Infinite Supply of Starter Sets? - in General Discussions [original thread]
I support this idea. It's less about forcing new players to start worrying about ISK, because as stated these suits would be super cheap to make, but it does get players into the mindset that everything is a consumable asset and they must buy ever...

It's going to get to 9000 and stop. 9001 will never happen But yeah this is opening weekend so it's to be expected. I sure hope the numbers continue to rise or at least stay the same, but that is to be determined.

They all have 2 eyes, the suits themselves just have varying optics for whatever reason. As far as Caldari, I always assumed it was one of those materials that you can only see through one way.

Working as intended then. All we need is some AA-vehicles to complete the rock paper scissors. Dropships destroy tanks (similar to how choppers destroy tanks), tanks destroy AA-vehicles, and AA-vehicles destroy dropships.

180. What do you like about DUST? - in General Discussions [original thread]
It invokes a lot more emotion from me than other games. I think a lot has to do with really working for these fitting yet having them be consumable, really gets me in the competitive spirit. Oh, and being apart of a 10 year old MMO does hurt either.
