I've been noticing this a bit. The influx in knife users along with the buffs CCP gave them, while small in most cases, seems to have people jumping on the bandwagon in saying they're OP. Why the need was felt to give them AA and a 2.5 meter range...

They'd have to rework the map layouts, control points, and a few other things, so I doubt this will ever happen as it would need a client update. It'd be nice though, Rush and Deathmatch could really add some entertainment value to this game.
