I'm happy for everyone who want to partecipate this event and i'm glad to CCP for the partecipatory prize.
But i'm too lazy to count my sidearm kills, i'm too lazy to use only sidearms and most of all i'm too lazy to play for an entire day with MLT sidearms.

dude, seriously, i tried to play for one full day! after 8 hours straight i could not fade it! i kept thinking, what's wrong with me, why is this so difficult? in the end it was just boring as sht and i have other things i'd rather do. |

There's not much point in bothering if you're not on MLG level with your chosen sidearm. People are setting aside days and preparing specifically for this, it just takes too much dedication to compete with them. Just use whatever sidearms you prefer and get the SP. Try using your main to whittle your opponents down and finish them with the sidearm if you want things to be easier. There's two halves of this event, and everyone could use a little SP. No need to drive yourself insane trying to get 1000+ kills with militia sidearms, just have fun.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

I have proficiency 4 (it was 3 before delta) in BP and prof 3 in scrmabler pistol, but i don't like to be forced, you don't have to be MLG level, but you have to play for a whole day.
Nothing against who want to try, but after more than 45 million SP i don't need those 750k and i'm not particularly interested in naming a officer weapon.

I've made a few dual sidarm suits and am having a great time.
I can also notice that I'm getting much better using my scrambler pistols, and this is carrying over to regular play -- kind of a bonus in addition to the extra SP. |

Mlt sidearms are boring. I got about 200 mlt smg kills in the first night and then got bored. I'd much rather use the plc, high rof weapons (except the rail rifle) bore me. This game bores me at times. But then I get a double kill with a flaylock and keep playing for another year
