First I really like my Corp. and running in a squad is good times but then sometimes I have a massive headache from looking at advanced carbon fiber foreward swept wing/fuselage/engine design (hobby).

Then its Advil time and I am unable to take any sound on a headset so then its sounds off and single running in a militia or starter fit.

Lonewolfing can be fun sometimes and then sometimes:

i.e. killed a Madrugar and the clowns inside then I had four Madrugars hunting me and the blueberries either left battle or ran and hid and I called down a free jeep and three Madrugars went for the Bolas kill so it drops on a fourth Madrugar and those clowns died and boy!! were those tank folks upset!, angry!! and they hunted me every domination match I was in that day...lol.

Plus lonewolfing is good for installation kills aka isk grinding.

 Just waiting for new content.

 So why do you lonewolf?

Theres Dumb berries that use no mic and want to kill a Madrugar with a scrambler pistol.

Theres Smart berries that use no mic and will go 20 and 0 with whatever they feel like running.

Dumb berries never get a win.

Smart berries 95 times out of 100 see a Victory screen.

I only go 10 and 2 running starter fits but I think of myself as in the Smart berry section.

I do play alone (don't know if I can or cannot use the term "lonewolf") because us something i'm hardly accustomed to, most of the time, i'm the "silently jackasses of the neighborhood" so I don't tend to much to try and have someone to lend my gun and my back on the battlefield.

Plus, we're playing in New Eden, and is complicated to find someone trustworthy, because f you give people so much trust, then your wallet will end up empty with a "ha! ha!" message inside of it.

Because I'm reluctant to affiliate. I also like taking my luck with random squads, have met up with some fun peeps from various corps that way.

I also don't have to worry so much about underperforming. If I underperform while alone I work out why and learn from it. Do so with a squad and I've let the squad down.

I remember you actually, the Forge Gunner.

I lonewolf if I'm running Snipers, I don't really go without a squad most of the time, infact, unless I'm running snipers I'll always have a squad.

And there's no one out there who's interested on pushing this, and other potentially games, to grow up, and enjoy it's core... Or simply pass hours role-playing, I try not to, but thanks to my annoying tendencies to live in ny own "wonderland" after a car accident, I get lost in many things I should not. Call me crazy, mad or simply lunatic. And no, It's not schizophrenia.

 People suck.
 Generally speaking, of course.

Then, there was the corp I was in. Total douchery. Of noted epic proportion. Packed with wannabe elitist nerd snobbery and juveniles. Made the notion of earning my spot as an unbiased, hired hand a much more (personally) rewarding option.

I have too much fun dicking around with this game to be able take somebody seriously when they take it seriously.

There were no survivors. LOL! That's hilarious! For me I think the funniest thing we did was use a Wraith to run into a guy that was crouched in a corner of a certain angle and would jump right when the wraith hit him. He'd get launched out of sight... and we found out that there were invisible platforms up there and you could run behind the maps and see what the devs worked on but never really released. So much cool art back there no one ever got to see. Back in Halo 2 there was a road cone one guy found that had a pistol hanging over it. The pistol shot some kind of crazy doomsday weapon that the giant scarab shot.... all these little easter eggs you find are awesome! Lost them after Halo 3

I lone wolf because communicating without a headset, using a DS3m, is waaaaay too much hassle. I get into more games faster on my own.

I usually only lone wolf if no one is on.

My headset died recently, so I lone wolf a bit more because of that.

I lone wolf if i want to get some selfish sniping in. When I'm squaded up, I feel obligated to snipe supportively. Sometimes I just want to be an *******, and sit in a mountain or some obscure spot and watch the action. Only making a kill for the lolz. Maybe snipe at a friend or someone I recognize just to fk with them.

Lastly, I lone wolf so I can blast the volume and play Dust to my favorite music.
Sometimes i'd play chill music in comms. Some of my corp mates like it. Some of my corp mates are pissy and particular about music or ANY sound coming over comms. So I just go solo to listen to music.
