Commando suit seems like an interesting sniper config, at least it has potential - Sniper/Swarm launcher combo would be useful.
I run a scout/sniper setup, Sniper/SMG - shields and Kinetics. I really wish precision modules worked better or that the active scanner was an item that could be dropped which actively scans at all times. |

To bad, easy prey for counter snipers and anyone that gets close will have a large advantage in a fire fight Commandos make good snipers due to their higher base health and weapon versatility letting them handle anyone that manages to close the distance The lower slot count is less of a disadvantage than you first might think as long as you go for headshots |

Proto Caldari Medium Frame (You need it for the CPU) Charge Rifle Specialist Flaylock Pistol Packed AV Grenades 4 x 10% Damage Modifiers 3 x CPU Upgrades (If you're running low on CPU, which you probably are) If you can fit one or two Range Amplifiers instead without sacrificing anything else, that will help. K2 Nanohives
If you're stacking shields or armor, you're sniping wrong. Flaylock pistol deals with any strays that come up to your position, and Packed AV to deal with anyone trying to rush you in an LAV, you can even occasionally **** with tanks. |

Do the range amps even work correctly? As far as I know, that system is currently wacked.
SMG is a good option over the Flaylock, especially with incoming nerfs.
Nano's are essential.
AV, too. Good overall setup, imho. Although I personally find speed to be necessary, I have outflanked approaching redberries and sniped them as they look around in confusion. |

The one issue with my fit is close quarters as I have no side arm but my fit thus far goes:
Thale rifle Proto gallante logi 3 complex damage modes 5 enhanced armour
Last night I took a shot from a charge rifle and still kept on going and I now have a 1 shot 1 kill as it works out im doin around 500damage a shot |

I think the Range Amps thing might be in my head, but when you're left with extra CPU you might as well stick them on, as stacking Armor is essentially pointless due to the reduce in speed, Ferroscale/Reactives will totally hound your CPU and mess up the fitting, you could maybe fit a Basic/ADV Repper on there but it's users choice really, might try out the Kin Cats but I'm stuck with militia right now, the prereqs to even get a basic KinCat is ridiculous.
SMG/Flaylock is also users choice, I used to use an SMG before I specced into Flaylock, I still have SMG rigged up on my ADV fit.

Just an FYI, the Proto Cal Logi's are probably going to see some sort of nerf due to the nature of their stacking capabilities. While fun, I would suggest exploring other options as well.

I'm definitely considering it myself. I think that is the nature of the commando suit, to be more ranged/support rather than CQC. |

Other fit I thought of was double mass drive thought that would jus b a fun fit |

I don't mind playing as a logi and I have enough sp that I am already considering a secondary dropsuit role. |

All of you people who fit 5 damage mods are silly and are wasting slots.
Stacking penalty mod for Nth module or rig = 0.5 ^ [ ((N-1) / 2.22292081)^2 ] 1 : 1.0000000000 2 : 0.8691199806 3 : 0.5705831430 4 : 0.2829551534 5 : 0.1059926494 note: modules with highest bonuses are calculated first.
This means that if youre using for example a Ishukone sniper rifle with 229.9 damage the damage mods will give you this much dmg: 1st: 22.99 2nd: 21.98 3rd: 15.68 4th: 8.22 5th: 3.17
Now tell me how 3.17 dmg is going to help you. It would be a much better idea to fit another shield extender or a precision enhancer that would give you more tank or make you spot people coming up on you from behind. |

My best fit is one that takes out the red dots... whatever does it is good enough for me. Besides hardly any point going beyond 3 damage mods as you'll one-shot most lower tier frames while still needing two shots for the others (and more for heavy) |
