Oh I see. You're hurt that the Thale's killed you. An OFFICER Sniper Rifle, and probably the RAREST gun in the game. In fact, as of 1.2, the Thale's is the only sniper rifle that actually functions like a sniper rifle.
Wouldn't make any difference if sniper ballistics were introduced, you'd still die the same to the Thale's. In fact, if ballistics ARE introduced, every sniper rifle should hit as hard as the Thale's to compensate, and their RoF will have to be bumped up.... Battlefield 3 sniper rifles for example, have ballistics, but those sniper rifles function more realistically. They have rate of fire on-par with assault rifles, and enough damage to 1-2 shot people. So be careful what you wish for.
That "takes skill" bravado argument is moot. Go play dedicated sniper role and consistently get 25+ kills a game, then come back and brag about how easy it is. |

Not as bad as when a group of people are running on a platform and all you can see are their heads or when you shoot at an enemy hacking an objective or other installation only to hit said installation because it magically extends beyond the texture. |

I'm ok with red line snipers even tho I don't snipe as long as - the red line to red line is within range of both snipers an is minimal that any infantry scout has enough time to run an nova knife them or assault tac them anywhere in that zone If you wanna hide on that road in manus peak on the hill I should be able to go 3/4 of the way up that road an sprint into the red zone an stab your face! Or my sniper can hit your sniper, the snipers already can hit us on manus peak from practically anywhere without moving but a GOOD SNIPER is the kind that repositions himself to protect his team, an lets face it most snipers are selfish pricks that's use their own team as bait so they can brag about a 20/0 game without doing anything but pulling out a drop ship with a nano an uplink , letting you hack a letter , let buddy kill you than wait till he's hacking an standing still to kill him! I mean half the time those losers say hack it your clear even though your not an then when ur dead they say I don't know where he came from!!!! Gimmie a break these lazy scrubs! Increase sniper range so their not safe from each other an that will fix the problem I'm sure of it! Cuz their gonna kill us anyway, an most snipers in this game suck! Not for lack of shooting ability but lack of being a real sniper! No eyes in the sky , no team support, no kill shot on moving infantry making a hole for you to break cover an escape! They kill the dummy that takes a second to tie his shoes an lite a smoke ! They don't make the hard kills they slap a nano hive in the red zone totally visible with 3 buddies laughing about how easy it is while you die trying to push a letter with lolly gagging losers laughing that you went 4/14 with all red letters in the game cuz you have 9 crappy snipers in your redline not helping you advance. So make a distance shooter skill that every so called sniper will have to skill into in order to protect themselves so their not safe ANYMORE ! An untill they have this skill cut their range in HALF so the red line is too far away for them to kill an their forced to back their infantry ! THAT'S HOW YOU FIX YOUR REDLINE AN WEED THE MEN FROM THE BOYS WIT NO SKILL TO EARN A REAL KILL! ( single handedly just fix.ed the game, CCP can send me a cheque for that now lol) |

If redline snipers are that big of a problem, how about moving the MCCs and forward bases back another 100 or so meters from their current position and move the redline back with them as well as expanding it on all sides? Other team gets access to the previously redline snipers and I get to keep my favorite spots that CCP had to place in the redline areas.
What annoys me more are the tower snipers. CCP really should have put a stairwell/ladder up to the top of those places so everyone has access to those places, whether to snipe or kill someone who is sniping. |

Well what I wrote might fix the tower problem I got hit dead by the same guy twice last night from those tower an probably anothe death or two a match last night, never seen it like this before but I igure it's cuz now people have finally levels into the cal logi (sniper) proto an have there guns high enough to use the Thales theve collected over the months an they use militia drop ships to keep those Thales which is clever an cheap playing style to run 5 complex damage mods on a 300 hp damage gun an never die so they keep thegun , get 20/0 don't protect their own infantry then brag bout their 2.89 kdr that they jacked up in a month because now their not getting crushed on the field an unless they get red line tower maps they only get 4 kills cuz they can't combat snipe worth crap! If you move the line there Just gonna do the same thing their already doing. So make a distance skill like accounting for wind an bullet drop adjustment an till then cut range in half an make the range increase only after level five proficiency THEN WE LL FIND OUT WHO'S GOT SKILL!D |

I'm gonna break the rules lol. The bullets should drop. All you gotta do right now is put the enemy on the dot and you hit them, not really a lot of skill needed. I think their scopes should zoom, because come one, it's a sniper rifle it should be able to see more. |

The one thing Snipers need more than anything else is for QQ AR Rambos like OZAROW to stop saying what Snipers need. They purpose of a sniper is so far above their narrow, pea-headed ability to comprehend. They just want to cry because they can't mow snipers down with their Duvolles like they can with everyone else. |

Dropships work great agains these. I was once hunted by these guys. I was like "fudge!" They then drop off some assault and GN sniper. |

So in the SR description, it reads that we can easily switch ammunition types. What kind will we get? Maybe rounds for different enemies, One ammunition to take out shields more effectively, other rounds for armor, explosive rounds for the loudness. As a good sniper, you'll know if your efforts helped win the battle! |
