Every weapon, suit and vehicle looks and fits perfectly to their race and role. Not only that, but they look like they can only exist in this universe.
Is it just me, or does the scrambler rifle look like a scrambler pistol morphed into a even more awesome rifle(pay attention to the handle and trigger on the rifle)

Uprising made the graphics pretty decent.
I agree that stuff in this game, does look like stuff that will only belong in this game, and i really like that. |

Well, yeah, one would hope that the devs would understand the design styles of the very races they created

I think that's the intention. Like, you can take parts off the SMG and use them to make the combat rifle, or something like that. |

Waiting to see what a Scrambler/Laser turret will look/sound like. Would also wish for a Scrambler SMG, and some kind Laser/Scrambler cannon for the heavy.
Or maybe the plasma flamethrower for the Amarr heavy... |

A lot of the art design for Dust is indeed pretty amazing, Caldari mediums look crappy though: not enough sharp angles like Caldari things should have. |

I completely agree. The art is second to none in both Eve and Dust when it comes to science fiction in games. |

I really love the Ascetic of EVE and DUST.
I don't really see any resemblance between Caldari and Storm Troopers. The most iconic parts of Storm Troopers were the face, the roundness of the suit, it's bleach white appearance, and a fatal lack of aim.
Caldari have no faces, no curves, are generally greyish, and can hit you from long range with good accuracy. Really if anything they are anti-strom troopers. |

Well one thing is obvious. CCP has a creative mind about eyes.
-Gallente has 4 eyes
-Minmatar technically has 2 but one of them is blacked out
-Caldari has no eyes
-I honestly have no clue how many or where the Amarrian eyes are. |
