The problem is, the more FPS you put in decreases the amount of MMO you can have, and vice versa. I don't think this has as much to do with design intent, but more on technological barriers. How long before you think the two genres can be merged ...

I'm really leaning on the user's ISP and/or network quality on this one. Mainly, because teleporting is the most classic symptom of high ping there is, and also because I very rarely see this myself when playing.

This actually happened to me. For while I thought I was just doing really awesome, until I realized no one was shooting back at me in full view. I just logged out of the match at that point(don't want to be an exploiter), and it did not happen again.
