Matchmaking by suits seems silly to me, does this read what your default suit is, what your highest suit skill level is? So from now on if you want to have an advantage in pubs make a militia suit your default and switch to your proto when match begins, or put most of your SP into things before drop suits.Matchmaking based on SP would be the best and simplest measure to use would it not? |

I know it's hard to comprehend, but maybe CCP thought of this. Perhaps, what they mean by "gear is a factor" that they take the average meta value or isk value of the suits you've used in the recent past to help with matchmaking. That way, a quick switcheroo, won't make much difference.

They're on the way. But not before they nerf DS some more, add some more bugs, increase the percent change of RDV's hitting, add 3 more AV vehicles and buff ground AV a little more.
So, in about a year.

Well I hope it works, right now I thought matchmaking was working a lot better which explains why I am getting killed more. I have a lot of SP (about 12 million) but all the SP in the world doesn't compensate for how much I suck at multplayer FPS games ![Lol](https://forums.dust514.com/Images/Emoticons/ccp_lol.png)
Now that I have watched the video, I am looking forward to this update, but I still really want to see more of the Eve to Dust connection. I hope it all comes soon and I hope 1.2 works out, I really want this game to succeed

I think it will be more along the lines of gear will be flagged according to Meta; if you try to equip Meta gear that is to high it will make your fitting invalid.
They would of course have to label the Matches accordingly so players can create proper fittings to be able to enter the matches. |

they play an important role in PC battles , at least at my corp, we fall on top of the letter , secure , and capture . |

The best thing about playing a game made by CCP is I have seen how aggressive they are about updates. I will admit this game needs a few tweaks and fixes but I'm in it for the long development cycle to see what shakes loose.
