that the new assault dropships are not worth the 3mil it takes to max them out if you feel otherwise post why. I took the time
to max them out as well as all turrets and all modules related to them i have all defensive skills maxed out to support its survivability on the battlefield. Even the most hardened python dies to 1 hit from a adv railgun or 2 hits from proto assault forge guns so if you intend to follow me into the sky's its on you to take the pros and cones into mind and weigh them wisely.

I honestly have only had a good fight thus so far with you in our dropship battles, haven't really seen anyone else up to par on our level but yes, I agree... a tournament of pilots would be interesting.

...will just add to what has already been said. If you are on the fence regarding specing into DS, read the warnings in this tread carefully. I got out with the respec and don't regret leaving.

The simple answer is don't. They're a waste so sp and ISK, who's only actual intended role is actually fulfilled better by the free LAV's running around, which just to add insult to injury, have better survivability too. But if your really determined to pursue this madness here goes.

Hybrid turrets lv5 (only if you want to, missiles are the only real viable turrets for an ads)

That's my current vehicle skill layout and will unlock just about every available module, it'll also give you a decent effectiveness from whatever you stick on your dropship. I recommend you only focus on shields or armour skills to start with , depending on your race choice.

If you're looking for a reason to quit, dumping 9 million SP on a dead path is definitely the way to go
