Or if You have ever been killed by one? So far i haven't have you? Laser Rifles right now are laughable they have no use on the battle field all they can do is get assists.

If the take two steps forward, or two steps back, they take little or no dmg. If they move, it is impossible to track because the iron sights block the view. Laser is a predictive weapon that can't see where it is shooting. In other news, many threads on this, I hope CCP is listening. Until then, I am sniper.

Dropped it like it was hot once I got my respec yesterday. All Fattie all the time for me now... To make it usable again you'd have to lose the minimum range limitation and change the iron sights back to what they used to be. I'd ask to lose the damn glow effect too, but I imagine some graphic artist at CCP who has idea of how lasers actually function already feels bad enough. Viziam last build: massively OP. Rest of lasers last build: just fine. Lasers this built: in desperate need of UN relief. At this point I would be able to compare the viziam to the standard LR last build, and therefore you could consider it "usable" but not until you get it up to that level. This isn't even taking into account the dreadful iron sight and the mysterious haze.

Just not the instant iWin buttons many scrubs needed them to be to get kills. They rip apart shields still when skilled and can keep the enemy at range when defending. You just can't use them for any and all situations now, which the average CoD player wouldn't understand.

Maybe nobody has really tried since LR's have been set aside for the newer weapons and nobody ever sees them in the field (therefore nobody thinks they are powerful and never think about using them... it's a vicious cycle). Kind of like the flaylocks, you see a few around here and there and shrug it off, but when you run across somebody who went proto, you know it and see the weapons potential. But they are rarely used, so nobody ever thinks about speceing into them. If a lot of people started using LR's, went proto, and are in every game, before you know it they will be the next FOTM.

I have made some good kills with them because over confident people think they are a joke but the are a good weapon that is too hard to aim. 10-15 more meters and a dot sight would fix them.

The range needs to be as long as the Tac or longer to compete or just nerf the Tac all together as modded controllers is now a problem (Solution: limit the Rate of Fire) < CCP

Yeah, what the hell was wrong with the camera-scope? It was only the AR fanboys that were complaining about those. It honestly made sense for the weapon, unlike these damn rifle ironsights that make you try and aim through the bloom effect of the gun.

While i do agree that the laser rifle needs its iron sights fixed and a slight range buff, i can still melt the ** out of people using it and i'm not even at proficiency level 5 yet lol. Although you can't use it in every situation about 8/10 times i'll destroy some nublet using his oh so powerful tactical assault rifle. Especially with this up coming nerf to the tactical assault rifle decreasing its rate of fire and some other things will i even be able to go toe to toe with them more occasionally. Now keep in mind that i'm not even using a heavy, i use a lvl 3 basic minmatar with only 150 shield and 247 armor. Also the laser rifle isn't really an offensive weapon, it should mainly be used to defend an objective, me and my corp mate defend this one objective by ourselves against a hefty amount of tac users, scouts, and heavies of all kinds. Plus i almost never go negative when using my elm laser, you just need to learn how to use it properly to be able to melt the ** out of people's faces lol. Also why are you guys such dicks to our CPM? Maybe if we actually communicated in a orderly fashion to them would we be able to fixed all these imbalances in the weapons ands suits so that they could relay that back to CCP.
