I want to enjoy the player quarters and avatar from different races with my main character. please introduce a race change for aurum.

would be great if a staff member could answer if they actually plan something like this? currently I have high hopes and this is what AUR actually should be about => looks and appearance not p2w. |

Seeing as there is no real advantage to having a race change I don't really see the need for that. However I do think they need to make you able to choose what your avatar looks like in the in game chat and on your sign in screen.
The issue with race change as it makes no sense why your character, originally an Amarr, is not a Gallente or whatever. Changing your quarters makes far more sense than changing your characters race when you've already been playing. If you really want shinier quarters just make a new toon and use that one.
They don't offer you a race change in EVE because it doesn't really make sense nor does it work. They do however let you dock in various stations making your Captains Quarters different depending on the racial station you are in, that is more what you are looking for in terms of your quarters that is in the real of feasibility. |

I don't support having the option to change your race whether for free or with AUR because it takes away a part of the greater whole that is about living with your choices. However I do like to be able to change the portrait of my avatar just like you would in Eve Online.
Also, if I want to change my merc quarters to that of a different race, I would prefer that I be able to select which station to move my avatar into. That makes more sense than just a racial change of the avatar. |

I'd probably do it. Make sure if someone does that they get access to those starter fits as well. |

I wouldn't mind a chance to change starter fit options - they had no distinction when my character was made. |

I would use aurum to change:
Race
Sex
MQ
Camo options
Decals
I think that is reasonable since they have no effect on game play.
On a side note when they introduce clothing in MQ i want a pipe, house coat and top hat. |

Race is irrelevant and the MQ is based of of your station, meaning when travel is implemented it will change to whatever race's station it is in eve. I really don't think you'd want to pay for something that doesn't even classify as cosmetic. |

I was going to say that I agree with everything except changing your race, but then I had a thought.
We are clones, I'm assuming each race has their own stock of racial specific clones.
It would give rise to some interesting Eve Lore if the particular Races began Offering expatriates of other races the opportunity to become one of them by transferring consciousness into one of their racial clones for a small fee, thereby changing their appearance in an effort to escape bounties and such!
Or for say the Amarr to transfer consciousness into a Minmatar Clone for espionage purposes!
I don't know much about Eve, but I could see this being an exciting new thing. |

First race change should be free, any after that should cost AUR.
Not saying this for me, I'm happy with my Gallente race. But I'd like it for the better good of the role playing community out there in Dust. Most people don't really have a good understanding of the races when they start. They end up later supporting a race that they are not directly aligned to. Give everyone a free redo because of the near impossibility to understand all the races at the beginning, then start charging. |
