As a all round support logi player last build gek/level 4 nano/level 5 triage nano/level 5 repper level 5 grenedier. I could do a bit of everything with no damage mods I could kill and was a threat to Vehicles but my main job was support wether that was offensive or defensivly. I tried as best I could to go the same root this time due to the sp cost I have had to gimp my offence early on level 2 grenedier and bpo weapons, in order to fit a proto repper, level 3 nano (cant fit level 4 due to pg issues) and level 3 nano injector. I spent 11 million on my build for proto logi amarr and it suffers in comparison. Still havent got level 5 in core skills that I need particularly level 5 in engineering. I still haven't got max defensive skills either had to sacrifice points in order to get that level 5 repper. I didn't get level 5 in nanos due to the fact I woudnt have the pg to have level 5 nano injector and level 5 nanohive anyway. So as a pure support logi I have extreem difficulty in getting anywhere near as effective as my former build which is why other people will probably gone offence before support. In addition I found issues with my support in this build: In a game yesterday out of 5 rezzes I only manage to picked one person up. Reppers often missfire instead of the box appearing so i can lock on to rep someone the dot will apear and I will have to repeatedily spam the rep button in a desperate attempt to get my beam on someone before they die. I have to run proto logi which while much cheaper is still relativly exepnesive plus as a proto user and a logi makes me a target. So sometimes to gain money I run advanced medium frame instead to gain back money and help my team mates by dps and level 4 rep/ammo nanos. In conclusion repping is not as easy as before, and the costs are high in both the need for very high core skills and the actual skills themselves. Lastly I found before the HMG buff that my main reason to play logi i.e. heavy support was pointless as the heavies were so week at dps that I was better off trying to add dps with my exile than keeping up the heavies with my proto repper. BTW I will be posting a feedback review on either or of the two proto reppers dual or single if people wish in feedback section.
This is why I chose Galente logi proto. 25% reduction in CPU/PG usage accross 4 equipment slots makes things A LOT easier resource wise. Galente was the suit of choice for anyone who wants to use highend quipment while still having power to equip high level mods. I'm a great repper. I rock the Lai Dai Flux, 30m range dual healing 35HP/s goodness. Nothing quite like being able to heal/buff mercs at that range. :D |

I will always rep my team mates, even when there are enemies abound. Because healing you, is far more important to me than killing that enemy (mass driver damage application is busted anyway) |

In my opinion there should be a small amount of war points rewarded for fulling repairing someone's armor that does not work on the cooldown. You haven't played with me. I do use Caldari logi but I use advanced injector, repair tools, and hives. I don't care about cool down. I stop healing when the blue is healthy.

I'm always rocking my repair tools and ever since the new 10m range 105 hp/s rep tool came out i feel like a god when using it on a worthy target i just wish there was some skills to increase the efficacy of support items. skills for better armor repping per second or rep link ranges or hey! maybe even epicness of skill/module for max target links for repair tools. the bugs to the tool wheel are extremely annoying however and the new spawn system sucks for using nanite injectors now, half the time people just spawn without hitting call for help and thats even if they die with the ability to call for help, and half of the time that the people do wait and hit call for help they are bugged out soooo thx ccp for bugging the support role so much. and making us logis super easy shiny yellow targets. |

I got tired of making f'all ISK and SP compared to living the boring life of running assault suit and assault rifle.
I went and tried active scanners for several hours on a new character, then got sick and tired of making less ISK and SP than an afker, despite winning most games thanks to basically giving my team a wallhack.
Come the next SP respec I'm going basic suit with upgrades + repair-tool staying that way until they figure out what they want to do and change for suits, because it's a good idea. Gladly pouring 105hp/s repairs your way without being singled out on the battlefield as a yellow freaking bee then. |

I haven't seen as much repair or revive action from logis in the last week either, I can mash that help button as many times as I want and I know nobody is showing up, the 3 times I have been revived in the last few days, one was a corpmate and the other 2 were assault suits with injectors, where have all the logibros gone? As for the active scanner, just keep a well armored heavy in your group instead, I love scanning areas with my HMG and a full squad behind me for mop up |

Hi, I'm a dedicated logi. My K/D is terrible because my 100% vocation is spent picking people up and repping people. However, when my team sucks at killing, I have no skills to help. At best I can bring someone's shields down with a flux grenade, or ping them with a laser, maybe even tickle them with a mass driver, but killing is way out of my scope for this game. I am a terrible shot, but additionally, I just don't have the equipment to hurt the "tanks" on the battlefield.
Subsequently I will spend every available second picking up the bodies (I can find), Dropping repping nanohives that last 2 seconds, and with a repair tool on friendlies. The results for my hard work are at best 700 WP in a Skirmish, and 300wp in an ambush. And that's if I don't die at all, and work constantly to keep people going. I recognize I'm useful and would rather win, but sometimes it's a pain to get 90,000 isk, and then look at my wallet of transactions and see that it only gave me 8000 ISK. |

It is literally just the logistics drop suits. LITERALLY. As a heavy I love having a logi in my pocket with a sweet reapir tool. I will turn corners and murder the **** out of people with a logi reppin me on top of my armor repair rate.
And if I engage and win on my own but lost some armor, a logi can repair in seconds what takes me a minute or two.

The revive is a bit weird at the moment sometimes you see the symbols and sometimes you dont and even then finding the "stab spot" can be difficult, and othertimes you can have the symbol right over a body and you run up to the body and either A. Cant stab at all just stand around holding the needle looking a bit silly or B. Stab, stab, stab, stab, stab, stab, stab, stab yay revive. Get shot for taking 20seconds to revive one guy. |

few problems curently with repairing
- a lot of people are shield stacking which brings up two problems 1. i either get no points because they have no armor 2. there armor is never in any danger
- everyone is faster than me so i cant keep up with them as they sprint across the map
- they don't stay still when they need healing
- locking on with a repair tool is really annoying unless they are the only thing around
- war point limit is annoying it half makes me want to stop repairing but i dont because its a team game and i would like the assault suit to kill people trying to kill me
they should swtich the war point limit to give points if you repair a soldier who was recently under enemy fire in addition to the current war point limit
this way the only way to get additional triage points is if someone is taking damage to there armor |

I'm running my BDR, as I have been for months... Now Caldari show up and CoD Tweens be screaming "NERF LOGIS!" like it's going out of style...
I've put nearly a year into this game, trying to help it along and become something great. Nobody complained about my suit that whole time and now I'm likely to get shafted for figuring out the game and trying to do my job out there on the field.
I've got my advanced injectors, hives, and repair, but nobody's likely to see 'em again if I get boned by CPM's ideas on "balancing" by just shafting the whole class because of one bad apple. |

I use my three slots for: Injector that doesn't work and a nanohive that barely works. The third slot is used for an uplink when needed, but normally i run with an active scanner, which I use frequently.
I have lots of better stuff to do than running around repairing people. I'm what we call a "combat logi", not as good as I could make an assault suit for combat, not as good at support as a "true logi", I want a foot in each shoe and do a little of both, I don't see any problem with "multiclassing" a logi suit cause it will never be as good as a suit thats build for doing one of the two jobs.
Taking away people's possibility to "multiclass" will lessen this game a great deal for me, I hate it when people claim that I'm supposed to either support or be a full on slayer, why not be a little of both?
- Removing that extra equipment slot for the proto assault suits is the worst thats happened to this game since the days of the EZ-mode nades, sadly, I suppose this change will stick... |

Found that this build, so far best method is to almost run with the repper out instead of a weapon so it doesn't missfire/glitch trying to switch to it... which means less fun times.
We exist just less folks going logi since more SP to get into. |

People who actually skill into armour repping usualy do otherwise why waste all those points on a proto repper if your not going to use it only for wps. Was repping an ammo supply depo yesterday under constant tank bombardmant. Thankless task no wps at all gained for doing that but since it was the only one on the batteifields tacticly very important. I only stopped repping it when the tank give up trying to destroy it. |

I often see one other logi using repair tool on my heavily tanked Gallente logi, you must have been very unlucky to never see a repair tool in your games. |

My problem with the repair tool is having a place for it. With the reduction of supply depots there's the need for nanohives. With the new needle mechanic there's a need for needles. With the new death mechanic there's a need for drop uplinks (really, I can't needle some people no matter what). All that said, there's only so many equipment slots. With the Amarr logistics suits you don't get a third slot until prototype. I don't have the module skills to justify wearing prototype suits so that's forcing me to pick two of those four equipment items to the field... so which would you rather have? |
